The design and manufacturing of LOTUSat-1, Vietnam’s first-ever indigenous weather satellite, is expected to be launched into orbit early next year, said Associate Professor, Dr Tran Tuan Anh, Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST), at a press briefing held on July 12.
