For the first time in Vietnam, doctors at Viet Duc Friendship Hospital in Hanoi successfully performed a simultaneous heart-liver transplant from a brain-dead donor. The success of this surgery not only saved the patient who was in critical condition but also showcased the skills of the medical team and marked another proud achievement in Vietnamese medicine.
