At the invitation of Prime Minister (PM) Pham Minh Chinh, his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim and his spouse are paying an official visit to Vietnam from July 20-21. This is the Malaysian leader’s first official visit to Vietnam since he took office and an important external event, in the year marking the 50th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries (1973-2023).
